【摘要】:Aknowledgeofspark-ignitionenginefuelcompositionisusefulforregulatorycompliance,processcontrol,andqualityassurance.Thequantitativedeterminationofolefinsandotherhydrocarbontypesinspark-ignitionenginefuelsisrequiredtocomplywithgovernmentregulations.ThistestmethodisnotapplicabletoM85andE85fuels,whichcontain85%methanolandethanol,respectively.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofsaturates,olefins,aromaticsandoxygenatesinspark-ignitionenginefuelsbymultidimensionalgaschromatography.Eachhydrocarbontypecanbereportedeitherbycarbonnumber(seeNote1)orasatotal.Note18212;TherecanbeanoverlapbetweentheC9andC10aromatics;however,thetotalisaccurate.IsopropylbenzeneisresolvedfromtheC8aromaticsandisincludedwiththeotherC9aromatics.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletospark-ignitionenginefuelwithtotalaromaticcontentupto50%(V/V),totalolefiniccontentupto30%(V/V)andoxygencompoundsupto15%(V/V).1.3Thistestmethodisnotintendedtodetermineindividualhydrocarboncomponentsexceptbenzene.1.4OxygenatesasspecifiedinTestMethodD4815havebeenverifiednottointerferewithhydrocarbons.Withintheroundrobinsampleset,thefollowingoxygenateshavebeentested:MTBE,ethanol,ETBE,andTAME.OtheroxygenatescanbedeterminedandquantifiedusingTestMethodD4815orD5599.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thisguidedefinestheinformationwhichisconsideredessentialtouniquelydescribeafiber,filler,orcorematerialinacomputerizeddatabase.Aformatisrecommendedforplacingthesedatainfieldssuitableforacomputerizeddatabase.Additionalfieldswhichareconsidereddesirable,butnotessential,arealsodefined.Thepurposeistofacilitateefficientstorageandretrievaloftheinformationwithacomputerandtoallowmeaningfulcomparisonofdatafromdifferentsources.Comparisonofpropertydatafromdifferentsourceswillbemostmeaningfulifalltheessentialinformationdefinedbytheguidelinesispresent.Comparisonmaystillbepossibleifessentialinformationisomitted,butthevalueofthecomparisonmaybegreatlyreduced.Whileatthistimethereisnogenerallyacceptednumberingsystemforthesematerials,analogoustothoseformetalsandalloys,afieldforanidentifyingnumber(MaterialReferenceNumber)isincludedshouldsuchasystembedevelopedinthefuture.Thisinformationshouldnotbeconsideredrestrictive.Forexample,adatabasedesignermayfinditusefultoaggregateseveralfields,suchasthematerialandchemicalclassfields,intoasinglefield.Thismayaffectsearchstrategiesandotherdatabaseoperations.Theseconsiderationsarebeyondthescopeofthisguide.1.1Thisguideestablishestheessentialanddesirableelementsofdatarequiredfortheidentificationincomputerizedmaterialpropertydatabasesoffibers,fillers,andcorematerialsusedincompositematerials.Arecommendedformatforentryofthesefieldsintoacomputerizeddatabaseisprovided.Examplesoftheapplicationofthisguidearealsoincluded.1.2Therecommendedformatdescribedinthisguideissuggestedforuseinrecordingdatainadatabase,whichisdifferentfromcontracturalreportingofactualtestresults.Thelattertypeofinformationisdescribedinmaterialsspecificationsshowninbusinesstransactionsandissubjecttoagreementbetweenvendorandpurchaser.1.3Thematerialscoveredbythisguideincludefibers,bothcontinuousanddiscontinuous,andfillersofvariousgeometrieswhichareusedasreinforcementsincompositematerials,aswellascorematerialsusedinsandwichcomposites.Coresmaybefoam,honeycomb,ornaturallyoccurringmaterialssuchasbalsawood.Thesematerialsaredistinguishedfrombulkmaterialsbytheimportanceoftheirspecializedgeometricformstotheirproperties.Thisdifferenceisreflectedintheuseofgeometry,alongwithchemistry,asaprimarybasisforclassification.IdentificationofcompositematerialsisdiscussedinGuideE1309.
