【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardestablishesgeneralprinciplesfortheexecution,testing,supervisionandmonitoringofverticaldrainprojects.ThisEuropeanStandardincludestheapplicationofprefabricatedverticaldrainsandsanddrainsanddealswithrequirementstobeplacedondesign,drainmaterialandinstallationmethods.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestotheimprovementoflow-permeability,highlycompressiblesoilsbyverticaldrainageandpreloading.Informationregardingloading(embankment,vacuumorgroundwaterlowering)andpreloadingisgivenininformativeAnnexesAandB.Verticaldrainageisusedbothinonlandandinmarineconstructionsforthefollowingpurposes:?(pre-)consolidationandreductionofpost-constructionsettlements;?speedinguptheconsolidationprocessbydecreasingthepathlengthsforporewaterdissipation;?increaseofstability(byincreasingeffectivestressesinthesoil);?groundwaterlowering;?mitigationofliquefactioneffects.Ineachcasethereisanoveralltreatmentofthesoil(thevolumeofthedrainsissmallinrelationtothesoilvolumetreated).ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotincludesoilimprovementbymeansofwells,gravelandstonecolumns,large-diametergeotextileenclosedcolumnsorreinforcingelements.Verticaldrainagecanalsobecombinedwithotherfoundationorgroundimprovementmethods,e.g.electro-osmosis,pilesandcompactedsandpiles,dynamiccompactionanddeepmixing.Guidanceonpracticalaspectsofverticaldrainage,suchasinvestigationofdrainproperties,executionproceduresandequipment,isgiveninAnnexA.Investigationofsoilcharacteristicsandassessmentofdesignparameters,whichareaffectedbydrainpropertiesandexecution,arepresentedinAnnexB.
