【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedtodeterminethetotalchlorinecontentofunknownorganicsamplesortoassayknownchlorinecontainingorganiccompounds.Thistestmethodmaybeusedonorganicmaterialsinwhichthecompleteconversiontochloridecanbeaccomplishedbysodiumperoxidebombignition,andwhichcontainnootherhalogens.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofchlorineinorganiccompoundsbysodiumperoxidebombignition.Itisintendedforapplicationtosamplesoforganicmaterialscontainingmorethan0.5%chlorine.Theprocedureassumesthatcompoundscontaininghalogensotherthanchlorinewillnotbepresent.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificsafetyprecautions,see6.5.2,Section7,8.3,and8.9.1.3ReviewthecurrentMaterialSafetyDataSheets(MSDS)fordetailedinformationconcerningtoxicity,firstaidprocedures,andsafetyprecautions.Note18212;OthertestmethodsbasedonoxygenbombcombustionforanalysisforchlorinearedescribedinTestMethodD808,TestMethodD2361,andTestMethodD4208.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.
