【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftotalaromaticsandtotalsaturatesinadditive-freelubebasestocksusinghighperformanceliquidchromatography(HPLC)withrefractiveindex(RI)detection.Thistestmethodisapplicabletosamplescontainingtotalaromaticsintheconcentrationrangeof0.2to46mass%.Polarcompounds,ifpresent,arecombinedwiththetotalaromatics.Precisionwasdeterminedforbasestockswithpolarscontent1.0mass%.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
