【摘要】:ThispartofBS5702givesguidanceontheapplicationofcontrolchartstoindividualobservations.Itdemonstratesthebenefits,versatilityandusefulnessofasimplebutpowerfulpictorialmethodformonitoring,auditandsurveillancewiththeobjectivestocontrolandimprovemanytypesofprocesses.Theseprocessescan,forexample,beinindustry,commerce,publicservice,healthcare,environment,food,informationtechnologyorfinance.Casestudiesareincludedtoillustratethisadaptability.Itdescribeshowandwhentoapply,select,construct,interpretanduse,controlcharts:?generally,toindividualmeasurementsofasinglecharacteristicarrangedinameaningfulsequence;and?specifically,toparticularcasesofattributedata.Thisstandarddistinguishesbetweentheuseofcontrolchartstoachieveproductcontrolasopposedtosteeringaprocess(reducingvariationandmakingestimatesof,andsecuringprogressiveimprovementsin,processperformance).Thisstandardisaimedatallthoseconcernedwithstatisticalrelatedinitiativesbasedonindividualobservationsandthecontinuousimprovementofbusinessprocesses.
