【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsandtestmethodsforunsinteredpolytetrafluorethylene(PTFE)tapes(hereafterreferredtoasPTFEtapes)whicharesuitableforsealingthreadedmetallicjointsasspecifiedinISO7-1.ThePTFEtapesaretypicallyforuseininstallationsfor1stfamilygases(towngas),2ndfamilygases(naturalgas)and3rdfamilygases(liquefiedpetroleumgases(LPG))upto5barandupto7barforhotwaterofheatingsystems(ClassA)aswellasupto0,2baringasappliancesandtheirauxiliaryequipment(ClassB).ThemaximumworkingpressurecoveredinthisEuropeanStandardis20barwhichisrelevanttoLPGstorage(ClassC).Thetemperaturerangeislimitedto-20℃to125℃.NOTE.Forapplicationsoutsidethescopeofthisstandard(e.g.compressedgases)thepurchasershouldconsultthemanufacturer.AnaerobicjointingcompoundsarecoveredbyEN751-1,non-hardeningsealingmaterialsintheformof,e.g.jointingcompoundpaste,arecoveredbyEN751-2.
