【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversanadhesiveforbondingprefabricatedacousticalmaterialstotheinsidewallsandceilingsofroomsinbuildings.Thisadhesiveisrequiredtomaintainatensileadhesion(bondstrength)ofnotlessthan3.45x00D7;104dynes/cm2(x00BD;lb/in.2)foralongperiodoftimeunderthetemperatureandmoistureconditionslikelytobeencounteredandtomaintainsufficientplasticitytoallowformovementofpartsofthebuildingasitages.Note18212;CleanlinessofSurfaceThesurfacetowhichtheacousticalmaterialisappliedwiththeadhesiveshouldbeclean,sound,anddry.Surfacecoatingsshouldberemovediftheirnatureindicatesanunsatisfactoryinstallation,sothattheadhesivecanbeappliedtothebase.Whentheadhesiveistobeappliedonapaintedsurface,testtileshouldbeappliedfor48htodeterminesuitableadherenceofthecoatingbyexamination.Acousticaladhesivesarenotintendedtobeappliedtosurfacesthataremoistandthathaveanalkalinereaction,orthatmaylaterbecomemoistoralkaline.Suchsurfaces,asconcreteorplaster,shouldbeproperlydriedandagedbeforeapplyingtheadhesive.
